A dock in the lake with the entrance to the dock under water
Focus on the Joy of the Goal

Psalm 16:11 NASB
*11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

I was taking pictures along the shore and noted how the entrance to the community dock was flooded, wondering how long it would take for the water to recede, so that folks could use the dock again.

a boy and his dog running down the lake dock ramp and the entrance to the dock ramp is underwater

All of a sudden, a boy and his dog appeared.

They went through the flooded shoreline that blocked the entrance to the dock.

They ran down the dock more focused on the joy and fun that awaited them up ahead. They didn’t even notice or care about the flooding. The way they were behaving, I felt I could hear their thoughts. They must have been thinking.

“It just is. It is part of the life of lake living.”

They did not even notice the flooding waters. They just jumped in and swam. Just a boy and his dog, laughing and enjoying their life. Watching them brought to mind this wisdom.

That on our journey to our beautiful life goals, things will just happen and sometimes unexpectedly. But we can always be assured and aware that they are just part of the experience and for our learning.

These events that occur, can give color and texture to our personal world.

Your beautiful life of joy and abundance is waiting there for you. Focus on that and move towards it and ignore anything that shows up to seemingly block your way. Jump over it, around it or through it. Just keep moving forward.

Be unstoppable, keep focusing on the joy of where you are headed. Stay in that happy energy. Believe it, feel into it, see it, and jump in.
